A New Look for CDCTA News
Welcome to the new format for Direct Rein!
This embedded email format will enable me to include more variable length content, make it easier to share links/resources (check out the Link Roundup at the end!), and automatically archive each issue online at our newsletter website, along with any longer content that can be linked into this monthly newsletter. The email embed should also be more accessible for readers on mobile devices. Let me know your thoughts or if you encounter any issues!
Along with the new format, I’m introducing a new column: Member Spotlight. I hope to feature a club member each month with a Q&A interview so we can get to know the members who shape our club and the equine community in Mid-Missouri.
As always, send me your horsey happenings, pictures, articles, etc. for next month’s newsletter! You can email me direct at [email protected], or reply to this email.
Happy spring! I hope you all are getting some time in the saddle.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
Q&A with Lauren Fritz: Balancing riding, club leadership, and a growing program at home
Each month, Direct Rein will highlight a CDCTA member and give us a chance to learn more about the people behind our club.
For our first Member Spotlight, we’re featuring Lauren Fritz who, as CDCTA president, has contributed immensely to our club in recent years. She’s an active volunteer, a regular at clinics, and a consistent source of encouragement for other riders. She always knows what’s on the calendar, who might be attending, and where to find the perfect matching outfit for the event.
