Membership Report:
40 members. There have been a couple submissions for the upcoming 2026-2027 year that I am holding until closer to December 1st.
Communications:
Discussed getting a basket together from the club for Regional’s silent auction. Lauren and Stacey will be at regionals and can take it. The basket will include any horse related items. If you would like to donate please contact Lauren or Stacey.
Competitions
Combined CDCTA/WWU show Nov 8th/9th.
Need to obtain a show bill from WWU to combine both into one entry and hopefully have an electronic entry option?
The show committee will have a meeting on Sunday 13th 2:00pm at Shelley’s house to get all the planning lined out, and send out a volunteer sign-up.
WWU will set up the arena, with CDCTA assistance.
Lauren will reach out to SLADS and ask if they would be interested in having the WWU show SLADS recognized for participating SLADS members.
Education
The Education Committee will be meeting next week, Thursday 17th.
For anyone that has ideas of clinicians please contact Lauren before next week.They can be any type - jumping, dressage, driving, etc.
Unmounted - Holly can have Joanne Narr to come present Animal Communication this winter (Jan/Feb). Shelley would be happy to host a Pilates winter session. Would like to go ahead and get these options on the calendar.
Mounted - Education committee is meeting on 9/17 to discuss future education events (mounted or unmounted). Please share any suggestions that you’d like them to discuss. As far as scheduled, we have Jamie Lawrence-Slocum coming to Stacey Bates’ farm in Holts Summit Oct 10/11 (change from previously 17/18 due to a show conflict for Jamie). Entries are open and this clinic is filling fast.

Anne renewed the business license with the State
Lauren will get insurance for Jamie and the WWU show.
